This course primarily targets exchange students and foreign students at Stockholm University, especially students in geography, planning and other subjects in the social sciences.

Purpose and learning objectives

Through this course you will be able to describe and discuss, verbally and in written form, in depth knowledge in a chosen thematic field from the course ”Swedish Geography”.

On completion of this module students will be able to:

  • present verbally and in written form in-depth knowledge in a chosen topic of human geography research with illustrations and empirical data from the situation in Sweden. 

Content and teaching methods

The course primarily involves individual in-depth work on an essay developing a chosen topic from the course “Swedish Geography”. The instruction includes seminars and individual supervision.
