Student and teacher exchange
The Stockholm University Department of Human Geography participates in the European Union Erasmus programme as well as in the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Nordplus programme and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency Linnaeus-Palme programme. Within these three programmes the Department have student exchange, and in some cases also teacher exchange, with departments at almost 40 universities. In addition to these agreements other (mainly non-European) contracts and the Nordplus Nordlys network are managed by Stockholm University International Office.
In addition to the exchange programmes the Department have some Minor Field Studies (MFS) scholarships from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency for students who would like to gather material for their degree thesis or project in a developing country.
